Gearing up for spring

With the snow falling thick and fast, it's hard to picture everything warm and green...but it isn't far off! Our ewes are looking plump, with lambing just a few weeks away. We'll be starting our veggie and perennial seedlings soon, and pruning the fruit trees and bushes. It's also time to plan infrastructure maintenance and improvement: fencing, greenhouse trellising, equipment storage. We aim to keep our farm and homestead running efficiently (keeping things weeded, healthy, and productive) while leaving ourselves time for summer fun (hiking, kayaking, music, and all that VT has to offer!)

We think that others would like to streamline their homesteads and gardens, too, so we've launched "The Garden Goddess" consulting. Our goal is to help people have more fun, and less frustration. Gardening and homesteading is a challenge, and a little advice can go a long way! For more info, visit "The Garden Goddess" page on our blog.
